Sorry for the late blog update. I had an error with my internet
connection and I am currently in a street fight to the death with my
Math 11 Principles course. But I do my best to keep this thing alive
whether people read it or not.
A little bit about my self here. I love being a member of a team. I
don't even really have to be the best player on the team, I just love
being there. Probably because of the support, or just the feeling of
acceptance from the other members. This desire for acceptance may stem
from my start in badminton, when I would travel to provincial
tournaments and have no partners, and no one supporting me at all. So
when I hear anybody cheering me on from the sidelines it is a huge,
pleasant surprise. The first team I ever competed on was the ClearOne
Badminton team at the 2010 Canadian Junior Nationals in Toronto. I was
so excited just being there and having this acceptance and support, no
matter how minimal it actually was. It was my first nationals, and I
didn't do well at all, but I did have the time of my life. It is just
more fun to have others striving for the same goal, helping each other
out.
As much as I love being cheered for, I also really love to have others
cheer against me. I don't mean I like it when they hate me or whatever.
I just love having the challenge. It is a great feeling for me, and I
always hope it puts pressure on my opponents. I love being the under
dog.
Sorry for the lame blog this week, I feel really disorganized right now
and I must get organized so I can be successful in school. I'm off to
study my mathematics now, thanks for sticking around.
